Korea reports first Zika virus case

The virus was first identified in Uganda in 1947 in rhesus monkeys and was first identified in people in 1952 in Uganda and Tanzania, according to the WHO. One netizen said in his Twitter account that he was terrified by the first Zika case as it can spread rapidly as seen in the MERS case previous year. (more...)
Utah governor signs bill requiring abortion anesthesia

The anesthesia requirement is waived for abortions undertaken because the mother's health is threatened, because Utah cares about women's health, but only to a certain extent. Dr. Davis also says that observations of fetuses appearing to be "flinching" during abortions are not actually evidence that the fetus is feeling pain, but rather simply a primitive reflex to outside stimuli. Egypt plane hijacked to Cyprus, hijacker arrested
