Expected Kentucky Derby favorite Nyquist jogs at Churchill

Trainer Doug O'Neill had Nyquist take his first footing with a light jog under the Twin Spires. It's expected that he will be named the morning-line favourite after Wednesday's post position draw, likely around odds of 3-1. His jockey is Gary Stevens, a three-time Derby victor whose last victory came in 1997 aboard Silver Charm, trained by Baffert. He comes in off a five-week layoff, having last won the Florida Derby. Vardy faces extended ban after charged with improper conduct

Jamie Vardy was snapped leaving Leicester's training ground on Tuesday less than 24 hours after he was slapped with an improper conduct charge by the Football Association. However, on the day, there was simply one team that produced a magnificent performance as manager Sam Allardyce used his Premier League knowledge on his Sunderland players to comfortably overcome Alex Neal's Norwich City.
